Frankfurt is no stranger to hosting events, with some of the largest trade fairs and events taking place in the city. One of the most famous events is the Frankfurt Christmas Market, where the city is transformed into a winter wonderland and more than 500,000 people descend upon the many stalls and eateries to experience a German Christmas.

Christopher street day is one of the largest gay prides to take place in Germany after Berlin and Cologne. The city plays host to CSD every July. The event, which takes place over 3 days includes concerts, parades, discussions and charity events.

The main gay parties take place either weekly or monthly depending on the Season. CK Studio, the only dedicated Gay Club holds regular events every Friday and Saturday Nights. Nightshift takes place at Orange Peel on the fourth Sunday of each month. Other parties such as Delicious and Pure take place every few months normally around long weekends, festivals or special events.
